TMSRU 2nd Conference was held on 18th and 19th March, 2017 at Com.D P Dubey Nagar, Khammam, TMSRU flag was hoisted by Com.P Murali, President, TMSRU and floral tributes to Martyr’s Column was paid by all the delegates attending the Conference. Com.P Rajesh, Organising Secretary, Reception Committee invited Guests, FTU leaders, FMRAI and TMSRU Functionaries for the inaugural session. Com.P Murali presided the meeting, Com. A Nageswara Rao, Vice President, TMSRU placed Condolence Resolution, Sri Chukka Ramiaha, Former MLC and Educationist and Chairman of Reception Committee welcomed the Delegates, Com.R Sudha Bhaskar, National Vice President, CITU inaugurated the Conference, Com.Dipak Bhattacharya, Joint General Secretary, FMRAI, Com.T Kameshwer Rao, Secretary, FMRAI, Com.Kalyan Venkateshwer Rao, State Secretay, CITU and Com.I Raju Bhat, General Secretary, TMSRU addressed. In the Business session, Com.I Raju Bhat, General Secretary and Com.K Sunil Kumar, Treasurer, TMSRU placed Reports for discussion, 18 delegates from 13/15 Subunits discussed on the report and after clarifications were given, the reports were approved unanimously. Com.R Sudha Bhaskar, National Vice President, CITU and Com.Dipak Bhattacharya, Joint General Secretary, FMRAI gave their observation. Com.T Kameshwer Rao, Secretary, FMRAI, Com.H J Suresh, Treasurer, KSM&SRA, Com.D Prasad. Treasurer, APMSRU greeted delegates. Resolutions against Central and State Government, closure and strategic Sale of Premier Pharma PSU’s, Uniform code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices, Alembic, AstraZeneca, Geno, Svizera, SPIL, Elder, Dr Reddy’s, BE and Indchemie were passed unanimously. Resolution giving honorary membership to Com.Mukund Kulkarni and Com.A Nageswara Rao and appreciating Khammam Subunit for the excellent arrangements made for the success of Conference was also passed unanimously. Following 9 State Office Bearers- President: Com.P Murali, Vice President: Com.A Nageswara Rao, General Secretary: Com.I Raju Bhat, Joint General Secretary: Com.Mukund Kulkarni, Treasurer: Com.K Sunil Kumar, Secretary: Com.PVSA Prasad, Com.G Vidya Sagar, Com.Mahesh Kulkarni, Com.D Srinivas, and 11 State Working Committee Members-Com.K Sri Ram Murthy, Com.Ch Bhanu Kiran, Com.MA Quadir Afroze, Com.PVS Somayajulu, Com.K Indra Reddy, Karimnagar, Com.G Srinivas, Com.K Iliaha, Warangal, Com.P Raj Kumar, Com.Sripad Kulkarni, Nizamabad, Com. Syed Siddiq, Khammam and Com.Ch Niranjan were unanimously elected. Colourful rally was organised on 18th March, 2017 covering main streets of Khammam, press meet was organised on 17th Mach, 2017 participated by Com.Dipak Bhattacharya and TMSRU Functionaries to explain the purpose of the Conference. Wide Press Coverage was given in Print and Electronic media for all the three days. 166 out of 259 eligible delegates from 13/15 Subunits attended the Conference, it’s a matter of concern that none represented from Adilabad and Kamareddy. Subunit wise participation is as follows: Hyderabad-32/64, Secunderabad-8/14, Kukatpally-4/14, Mahabubnagar-9/13, Nalgonda-9/11, Warangal-18/30, Khammam-18/18, Kothagudem-3/3, Karimnagar-36/46, Mancherial-3/5, Jagtial-5/5, Siddipet-3/4 and Nizamabad-18/25. No representation-Kamareddy-0/5, Adilabad-0/2.
